Grupo T-Solar has developed an Energy Management Center (EMC) to conduct the remote monitoring and operation of its power plants. The EMC is the core of the technical asset management organization.

The EMC is equipped with the latest computing technology and with a reliable telecommunications infrastructure to keep track of each plant performance.

Additionally, the EMC is accredited by the grid operator in Spain (Red Eléctrica de España) to provide control center services.

The continuous follow- up and improvement of the power plant performance keeps the energy production at the optimal level and, at the same time, guarantees the return of the investment in the long term.

Key characteristics of EMC

  • Real-time 24/7 monitoring and remote control of solar power plants worldwide from a centralized location, which reduces operational cost and produces synergies in the management of the plants.
  • The improvement of plant availability through the early detection of failures assure the highest energy production level
  • Analysis of historical data used to optimize current  asset performance and the design of new projects
  • Real-time 24/7 plant security surveillance through cameras and intrusion detection mechanism located in the perimeter of the power plants

Key activities
